Fedex St. Jude Classic

Fantasy Golf One and Done

The One and Done format is tricky given you have to optimize each player to the best of his abilities – picking a hot hand in a tournament that fits a player’s skills better than most. We’ll do our best all year long to help you choose the right player at the right time.

The list of contenders are:

  • Already used –
    • Dustin Johnson
    • Brooks Koepka
    • Daniel Berger
    • Phil Mickelson
  • Saving for later –
  • Final options –
    • Ryan Palmer – solid track record, playing well
    • William McGirt – what are the odds for two in a row?
    • Chad Campbell – surprising confluence of course fit, recent play, tourn history
    • Gary Woodland – recent play trending upward (4th at Memorial)
    • Brenden Steele – not enough to get him over the hurdle
    • Harris English – former champion; worth consideration given great last tournament

Our choice this week will be Ryan Palmer. We will go Palmer given his track record but the 2nd option would probably be Chad Campbell or Harris English given who we have left. Koepka, DJ, and Mickelson are all interesting options as well.
